Green Hill of Lowndes County, Georgia

Green Hill was born in 1767 in North Carolina.  In the census records of 1850 and 1860, he was living in Lowndes, Georgia and Brooks County, Georgia.  He died after 1860 in Tallokas, Georgia.  It is noted that in the 1840 census, there is a wife living with this Green Hill born between 1770 and 1780.  She obviously died between 1840 and 1850 in Lowndes County, Georgia.  In 1860, Green Hill lists his age as 91 and is living with a son John B. Hill, age 43 in Brooks County, Georgia.  There is a Theophilis Hill born in 1805 living just two dwellings away in 1860.  The name of his wife is not known.

This Green Hill family is NOT the Green Hill who witnessed the Sion Hill and Starage Lee marriage in Johnston County.
